Maybe you felt strange after reading the title of this blog. You would also think about how heaven could be deprived of facilities and blessings. However, I went on a tour towards heaven last summer, but unfortunately, the blissful paradise became despised. Azad Kashmir, no doubt God has granted this valley true beauty, and it has a remarkable resemblance with heaven. However, unfortunately, this valley has changed into a pitiful place for me due to various factors. Ok, let’s start and experience the pain of this drastic journey with me.

Last year, I decided to move towards the cool breeze of heaven. I started my journey towards Kashmir from Lahore. After 20 hours of the long journey, I reached Muzaffarabad. God has granted Azad Kashmir true beauty and aesthetic effects to give solace to our hearts. During summer, this place wears the robe of green grass. Beautiful flowers grow in meadows and accessorize this valley. The grey mountains and rivers turn into a colorful and golden scenic place during summer. Moreover, on this green robe, you could witness the embroidery of white and different flowers.

The mountains’ plateau wears a snow blanket to shield from winter’s cool breezes during winters. The river flows in the valley that provides a picturesque view of Kashmir. You can say that it is the best heaven for those who want to get freedom from the hell of this world. So, while noticing this point, I left my home in search of paradise. The beauty of the valley captures me like an enchantress in its spell.

My destination started from Muzaffarabad. I thought many things about the Muzaffarabad. But all my hopes were shredded when I reached the Muzaffarabad because piles of junk welcomed me. It gave me bizarre feelings. It was difficult for me to capture images of garbage in my camera.

But no doubt Muzaffarabad has many best places to visit in this world, just like peers Chanasi, Shaheed Gali, and red fort. But the piles of garbage and junk were spoiling the beauty of this area. So, after this, I decided to move towards Kel and Arang Kel.

The mountains’ beauty was mesmerizing, and I had never seen a beauty like this before. The heavy trees were covering the hills; trees were standing peacefully in this region and playing an essential role in the beauty of this area. Moreover, various small streams were making their way between these mountains.

I was spellbound to see this type of charm. The cool breeze of this area was tickling me and welcoming me. There was a constant smile touching the corners of my lips without any reason. Nature has the power to console us, and it can heal our souls. The snow was covering the top of the mountain, and it was highly mesmerizing to me. Yes, I believe that Kashmir is heaven in this world. After covering the destination of 3 hours finally, I reached Kel. I was tired after a long journey. But ultimately, I approached the inner areas of Kashmir.

But unfortunately, still, a pile of junk was present there to welcome me; at this point, after seeing the trash in this town, I wanted to jump from the altitude of the high mountain and kill myself. But I left this idea for another day and decided to rest. I hired a porter to carry my luggage. But unfortunately, I fixed money with him, but after approaching its destination, he demanded more money. That situation was quite pathetic for me. But I did not have any other option, and I gave him more money without my intention.

I entered a hotel. I was in a rush because I had traveled for the last 22 hours. I decided to stay in a hotel. But the situation of the hotel was quite drastic and pathetic. The bed, its blankets, and even the toilet were miserable. It was pretty hard for me to spend a night here. Even this hotel was not providing any facility for dinner. So, I purchased dinner from the market. The next day the hotel manager charged nearly 2000 rupees per night. I was shocked because once I visited Dubai, the hotel in Dubai charged 2000 rupees per night, and the hotel facilitated me and provided me with every facility. How unfortunate that there was no rule and regulation in my country. The government is not providing any facilities to visitors. Even after spending extra money, I could not find a healthy and delicious meal. The eggs were expired, and the quality of tea was so pathetic that it felt like only warm water.

I left this hotel for a better one. Finally, I succeeded in finding a better one. But in this hotel, it was difficult for me to stand on the balcony and enjoy the picturesque beauty of the valley due to the bad smell of garbage, and the smell surrounded this area badly. I observed due to waste; the whole valley was looking awful. This scene tore my heart because it turned my paradise into hell due to junk. I decided to walk down the river, and suddenly I saw a diaper near the rocks. Yuck, I cannot explain my feelings in words. The trash felt like a strain on the beauty of this valley.

Then I moved forward. The water was flowing smoothly; it was not creating any noise. I got into a hallucination in the beauty of the valley. Valley was glittering in the golden light of the sun. Sun was giving warmth to this valley. The soft and delicate caption of the valley was prominent in the river. Bright clouds were covering the top of the mountains.

Cool breezes full of beautiful scents were giving me kisses. I indulged in the ethereal beauty of this valley. I was fascinated by the valley’s beauty, like the army of Odysseus, whose soldiers got lost in the beauty of an enthralling valley after eating the lotus fruit.

But suddenly, a harrowing view captured my attention. I got goosebumps when I observed that the valley was depriving of trees. When I asked the local person, he told me that “they do not have any facility for LPG., So that is why they are bound to use wood.” Even they built their home with wood, and they cut nearly 100 trees to construct a single house.” It left me in awe. What would happen in the future? The valley would lose its grace.

So, heavenliest valley deprived of facilities. I would not use the cliché lines over here, but instead, I would like to share some true aspects with you. I wanted to place some most factual aspects, so I do not want to keep you in the dark shadow while talking about this valley. I wrote what I experienced and observed there.

Let me confess that these people are not as hospitable as I expected. So, the first time I saw heaven without its facilities and blessings. Maybe people would disagree with me because it varies from person to person. And people do not share the same experience. After visiting this valley, my heart got a laceration.
